How We Cast
Charm Factory manufactures jewelry via lost wax precision casting.
Item trees are made from professional injectable wax. After the trees are cleaned and set, they are invested with ceramic plaster.
Once invested, the tree flask is dewaxed and cast with molten metal.
Immediately after casting, the items are placed in a centrifuge and then cooled and washed with water to remove the investment from the resulting tree.
Once cleaned, the items are clipped from the tree.
The clipped items are ground by hand using a water-based grinding wheel.
Next, the jewelry styles are polished, cleaned, and sorted.
Ta-da!
A tree of designs is completed and ready to be sent to the artist.
